We finally made it home!! It took 13 hours, including a time zone change, but we made it!! And if you can believe it, I drove the six hours from Winnemucca to Provo-- I know right? But we had fun ( sorta). Ryan and I were both a little sad to be going back-- this was our first real vacation together!!

Thanksgiving 2009

So for Thanksgiving this year, Ryan and I had a fun little trip out to California. We drove till 2am, to Winnemucca, and then drove the rest of the way to Lakeport the next day. We literally pulled into the driveway, got out of the Honda and jumped into the Sienna to drive up to Crescent City, CA, where my grandparents live. Ryan had never seen redwoods in real life before, and boy was he excited-- pics will come later. He was also impressed by the ducks that my grandfather carves-- he truly appreciates excellent craftsmanship. We ( the Sanderson/Cole clan) stayed in this AWESOME vacation rental with fabulous views of the ocean. Our room had one of those cool rain-shower heads that are way above, and it literally feels like a waterfall!! Pics will come soon, I'm a greenie to this whole blogging thing!
